This site answers one question - when is the next eclipse? - with the dates of the next solar eclipse and the next lunar eclipse, the type of each, and where on Earth each is visible. The "next" answer is computed in your browser from your device's date, so it stays correct as eclipses pass.

The underlying data - dates, eclipse types, magnitudes, durations, and visibility regions - comes from NASA's eclipse catalogs at eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov: Solar Eclipses 2021-2030 and Lunar Eclipses 2021-2030, computed by Fred Espenak. Dates shown are the calendar date of greatest eclipse in UTC.

What this site is not: it does not calculate local circumstances for your city. Whether an eclipse is visible from where you are, and at what local time, depends on your location - check the linked NASA pages for maps and interactive local times.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NASA or any government agency. Never look at the uneclipsed or partially eclipsed Sun without ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses or an indirect viewing method.
