What this site provides

This site offers informational eclipse dates and visibility summaries based on NASA eclipse catalog data. Dates refer to the instant of greatest eclipse in UTC; whether an eclipse is visible from your location, and at what local time, depends on where you are. The site does not calculate local circumstances for any specific place.

Eye safety

Looking at the uneclipsed or partially eclipsed Sun without proper protection can cause permanent eye damage. Information on this site is not a substitute for official safety guidance. Use only ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses or indirect viewing methods for solar eclipses.
